“I have had the privilege of being an NHS doctor for the past 19 years. However, I have opted for a change of pace and more time to offer patients an alternative to conventional medicine.
I suffered with chronic pain following a prolapsed disc in my lumbar spine and tried various conventional modes of treatment, none of which helped my personal situation. Someone mentioned trying acupuncture and after a few sessions, I finally had relief from the pain.
Since training in Western Medical Acupuncture through BMAS (British Medical Acupuncture Society) I have not looked back. Acupuncture is evidence based and recognised by NICE (National Institute for Healthcare & Excellence) to treat conditions such as chronic pain, headaches, migraines and musculoskeletal pain. It has also many other recognised benefits in treating patients for overactive bladder syndrome, nausea, fertility issues, PMS, hot flushes (especially those associated with cancer treatment and the menopause), stress, anxiety and general wellbeing.
Although I believe strongly in conventional medicine, I also feel it’s important to offer acupuncture as an alternative where appropriate, as it is such a safe treatment with no side effects.”
I also have a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine and am passionate about helping my patients prevent and improve chronic disease. The chronic disease numbers are rising in the UK and there has never been a more important time to focus on prevention. I find the blend of acupuncture and lifestyle medicine work harmoniously in offering patients the best possible outcomes to not only manage their pressing condition but also to prevent and improve overall lifestyle and wellbeing.

I am a retired medical practitioner. I have been suffering from undiagnosed muscle pain for over 20 years. I was treated by neurologists and rheumatologists with different types of medications without any significant response.
I wanted to try an alternative therapy as I had exhausted western medical options and came to know that Dr Ruzeen performed acupuncture treatment. Dr Ruzeen took a detailed history of my illness and examined and identified painful areas in the muscles. After the 2nd session there was significant improvement of my pain and the pain gradually improved over the subsequent sessions.
I found Dr Ruzeen to be a very professional in dealing with my illness. She was caring, allayed my anxieties about multiple needle punctures and explained everything in great detail.
I can highly recommend Dr Ruzeen as an accomplished Acupuncturist
Dr. Ruzeen is a compassionate and utterly professional GP and acupuncturist. She is constantly increasing her knowledge to improve her patients’ health and well-being. I have used acupuncture for many years and I would thoroughly recommend her. I have complete faith in her and feel totally comfortable during our sessions.
I was really suffering with a sore neck and shoulder for about 3 weeks. I couldn’t pick things up from the floor without feeling a lot of pain (which is a problem with children). I read somewhere that acupuncture can help heal, So I went to see Dr Ruzeen at the Studio in Beaconsfield. I felt relaxed as soon as I met Ruzeen, she has a way about her that I knew I was in safe hands. In one session, I felt so much better! My pain had shifted by the end of the session and I felt so relaxed during the session. Today I feel so much better that I had to write this testimonial!!!I highly recommend Ruzeen, please don’t suffer when you can reduce your pain in 1 hour with Ruzeen. She was a GP and retrained because her objective was to heal her clients, hence she retrained western acupuncture as well as how to live a lifestyle to prevent illness. If you want to get healthy, she is the go to person.
