Herpreet Kaur-Lotay Sharma – Prescribing Pharmacist specialising in menopause and Women’s Health.
T: 07940 467106 / E: firstname.lastname@example.org
Herpreet is a qualified pharmacist, working in a number of disciplines from community pharmacy (multiple, corporate, independent), the NHS and academia.
“I have been a pharmacist for over 15 years and my passion has been to be “on the front line” to help at the heart of the community. Through years of working in a number of sectors, this interest and passion organically grew into women’s health, more specifically on the cycle of menopause from perimenopause through to post menopause.
I could see by talking to my patients in the NHS and the community that this was a real struggle for women; namely through the ideas and expectations surrounding it.
Since then, it became my mission to reach as many women, men, bosses (anyone who would listen) to demystify those pre-conceptions around this time in a woman’s life. I was finding that the multi-faceted nature of our lifestyle (from home, professional, personal, to family) meant many women were getting help by means of HRT but not necessarily any guidance for the rest of it!
This is where Lotay Wellness was born! A holistic approach to Menopause. My aim has been to look at the person as a whole. Focusing on how personalised options could be provided to help physical and mental wellbeing at this crucial time, bringing balance back to those in need of support.
I prescribe HRT and provide regular follow ups with women to ensure they are on the correct dosage. I also provide information on alternative options. At its core, Lotay Wellness aims to support and signpost (to other experts in the women’s health space) where further support may be required in physical health, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, diet and stress management.”
