Liz Stacpoole is a Perinatal Counsellor (Pre & Post Natal) working in Beaconsfield, Amersham and across South Bucks
T: 07521 090315 / E: email@example.com
As a perinatal counsellor, Liz Stacpoole offers counselling support for a range of issues that people may experience pre and / or post-natally. This could be struggling to conceive and fertility issues, the devastating experience of having a miscarriage, still birth, neonatal loss, suffering from post-natal depression or experiencing birth fear or trauma.
“I am committed to creating a trusting and confidential therapeutic relationship with my clients, offering a safe, relaxed and non-judgemental environment where they can talk freely about and explore their emotions, feelings and thoughts.
The sessions help you to understand your feelings and experiences, gain self-acceptance and provide a means to heal and grow at your own pace. During the sessions you will begin to uncover your true self, your own set of values and beliefs, learn to trust your own judgement and live your life in line with your own values rather than with the values of others.
I worked for a national bereavement charity for over 3 years, which was a deeply insightful experience. I have also been part of the NHS perinatal counselling team at Hemel Hempstead hospital for over a year.
I feel honoured that my clients choose me to be part of their journey. The therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client is like no other. It is very special. I often tell clients counselling is like a jigsaw – we throw all the pieces on the floor and slowly put them back together one by one.
