Jane offers one to one sessions in either EFT, Qigong or a combination of both depending on your needs. Jane’s focus is to help you integrate daily EFT and Qigong practices into your day-to-day life, enabling you to take control of your own health and wellbeing.
‘In 2007 I was finally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis having been dealing with difficult symptoms for many years. Initially, I was able to manage my condition with the help of medication, although I was slowly deteriorating. In 2017 not only did my body reject the medication but the MS was impacting on my family and social life and I had to give up my job.
I turned to complimentary medicine to try and improve my situation and I came across EFT and Qigong. Over time I realised that a combination of EFT and Qigong were enabling me to manage my fatigue, reduce my day-to-day symptoms and live a life that I never thought would be possible.
I went on to train to be an EFT practitioner and a Qigong teacher. They have both been invaluable in helping me heal my own personal health symptoms, improve my fatigue and bring my body back to balance. What I love about both of these mind-body healing techniques is that they are gentle and easy to learn, have long lasting effects and can be used either by yourself or with a practitioner. My main focus is to give you the skills and resources to help you manage and even overcome an existing health condition, enhance your wellbeing and improve your day-to-day life.’
WHAT IS EFT?
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique but is often referred to as ‘tapping’ as it involves tapping with the fingertips on specific energy points on the hands, head and chest – corresponding to Chinese meridian points – whilst focusing on a specific problem, physical symptom, emotion or memory. It is sometimes called ‘emotional acupuncture’. Research studies have proven that this technique re-wires our brain creating a calm, regulated internal environment which helps heal health issues by influencing specific areas of the brain related to pain, immunity, sleep and emotional processing. It works for almost everything; it’s like having a reset button for your brain at your fingertips.
One of the great advantages of EFT is that it is a tool that you can learn to use yourself to support you through your everyday life and is also a useful complement to any conventional medical treatment.
WHAT IS QIGONG?
Qigong combines the mind, body and breath using a variety of simple postures to promote a good energy flow. When we work with our energy, we can tap into and influence these subtle functions within us. We influence the activity of our nerves, the flow of our blood, the internal movement and activity of our cells to bring health and vitality to every part of our body; replenishing and restoring energy levels to balance, heal and nourish your body.
Qigong can be used to positively influence a broad range of conditions, and is safe to be practiced by anyone with any level of fitness and health. In fact, with consistent practice Qigong can help you to recover from most illnesses and injuries and can improve physical and mental performance. In research studies Qigong has also been shown to significantly improve health markers including reducing cortisol, lowering blood pressure, strengthening the immune system and improving cognitive performance, muscle strength, balance and sleep.
