Gestalt therapy is an exciting and embodied talking therapy that focuses on what is happening in the present moment.
“I am an experienced BACP-registered Gestalt Counsellor. Gestalt Therapy is about becoming more authentically ourselves in relation to others. By staying with and sharing how things are for us, we become more in touch with ourselves and each other.
With more awareness, we can identify fixed patterns that are no longer serving us, and develop other ways of being that are more fulfilling.
Gestalt Therapy is a profoundly optimistic and creative approach that believes that we all have the resources to solve the problems that we are facing. I work with clients with a wide range of issues.
Some areas that I specialise in include attachment, shame, intimacy and belonging. I am an anti-oppressive practitioner with regards to class, race, gender, sexuality, disability, age and neurodivergence.”
I work in woodlands, which suits those who would prefer an alternative to traditional room-based therapy settings and have a love of nature.
LOCATION:
I mostly work in two woodlands, Quarry Wood near Marlow, and Keep Hill Wood in High Wycombe. I am open to other locations if they are accessible to both me and the client.
FEES:
£50 per 50-minute session, with concessions for those who find it difficult to meet this cost.
