Cognitive hypnotherapy can help with such a wide range of issues because our unconscious mind is so often in charge of how we think and the daily decisions we make. Making the unconscious conscious brings about greater understanding, helping to reframe unhelpful learnings and change the way we ultimately perceive ourselves and others. When changes take place at this deeper level, many of the challenges of daily life can be effectively alleviated, leading to a healthier outlook, creating positive habits and increased self-confidence.
“About 10 years ago, during a particularly overwhelming period in my life, a Quest-trained Hypnotherapist expertly guided me to look at life differently, into a future of ever broadening horizons. I have never looked back. I was so blown away by her simple yet effective techniques, I decided to study them myself and use my own life experience and natural desire to help people to launch a new career.
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent 25 years in corporate and media communications in a variety of large organisations in London.
I don’t believe we can really overcome everything life throws at us completely alone and it is important to seek professional support when we most need it. I am passionate about helping people live their best lives and seeing them reap the benefits of change is so rewarding. I particularly enjoy helping women with birth anxiety / trauma and people with issues with low self-esteem and anxiety.
I am now helping to create new pathways for people, guiding them to find their own strengths which were always there, encouraging them to communicate with themselves and others more effectively. It is mostly the voices in our heads that need the most work after all! The bespoke word-weaving recordings I offer to complement the sessions can work wonders to change the unhelpful internal messages we tell ourselves and work to literally ‘change your mind’.”

QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma Cognitive Hypnotherapy / Reiki Master Level 2
I did my training with the Quest Institute and have a Diploma qualification in QCH Therapy – a cutting-edge therapy that combines many therapeutic approaches (including Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt
therapy, Positive Psychology, Evolutionary Psychology, Parts Therapy, NLP, EFT,coaching, timeline therapy and more). I qualified as a QCH Master Practitioner in 2022.
This form of therapy takes in so many disciplines and is very flexible and gentle. QCH Therapy is also an evidence-based therapy. In Mental Health Review Journal, a pilot study showed 71% of clients with anxiety and depression considered themselves recovered after an average of 4 sessions of QCH Therapy. This compares to 42% for other approaches using the same measures (like CBT).
I became a Qualified Reiki Practitioner (First Degree level of the Usui System of Natural Healing) and went on to gain my Master Reiki qualification (Second Degree) in 2018. I can incorporate these additional skills and knowledge in my therapeutic work when required.
