Until recently, frequency healing, otherwise known as bio-resonance, has been deemed too esoteric to be taken seriously in mainstream health. However, with increasing scientific studies from medical institutions across the world proving its benefits for a wide range of health conditions, this tide is now turning.
So, what is it and how does it work?
Frequency or ‘vibrational’ healing is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses specific frequencies, vibrations and sound to help improve a person’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. This approach draws from the belief that everything in the universe, including our own bodies, emits its own unique frequency or vibration.
Lekita Davies, Seed’s Naturopath & Bio-Resonance practitioner, explains, “When our frequency signals change and become chaotic due to toxins, pathogens or heavy metals, our health is compromised. Frequency healing activates the body’s natural healing power by using electromagnetic waves with the same frequency of the health condition to kill or disable diseased cells.”
Lekita’s own healing journey started when she suffered with Lyme Disease, toxic mould poisoning and auto-immune disease at the age of 17. Said Lekita, “My life was turned upside down, I was forced to drop out of uni and I was bed bound for 2 years. Conventional medicine wasn’t working so I eventually turned to natural medicine as a last resort. It was then that I discovered frequency therapy and this, along with naturopathy, were pivotal to my recovery.”
As the trend for frequency therapy continues to grow, so too do the number of methods used to administer it, from bio-resonance machines such as Rife and Healy to actual venues where patients sit in a room with a big screen (think Matrix) and a particular frequency is set according to their specific health needs.
Said Lekita, “In my clinic I work with the Rife machine. I see lots of cancer patients, people suffering with fibromyalgia (chronic pain), Lyme disease, problem skin, digestive issues, depression and more. Most who come have already done their own research. Often, they have tried everything just as I had and turn to this as a last resort. The results can be amazing and even life-changing.”
While more research is needed, the evidence around frequency therapy shows it is a powerful alternative healing modality that can help many health conditions and should be considered, particularly where conventional routes are not providing adequate solutions.
