Nicola Kenworthy offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapy working across Henley & surrounding regions.

MLD is non-invasive, gentle and rhythmic and stimulates the lymphatic system to work harder. This speeds up the removal of excess fluid and waste products.

I mostly see people who are:

Suffering with oedema. I am also qualified to measure for compression and order through the NHS.
Suffering with lipoedema.
Post-operative, in particular orthopedic and plastic surgery, where it will speed up healing, reduce swelling, bruising and hardening of the tissues.
Post fractures and sprains to promote healing and lessen pain.
Would like their wounds to heal faster and/or improve the appearance of scars and burns.
People can also just have a relaxing lymphatic massage. It’s the easiest detox you’ll ever do.

QUALIFICATIONS

Vodder MLD/DLT, LTA FG-MLD. Restore Scar Therapy. I update my training every 2 years with the official MLD schools. I am a member of MLD UK, the governing body for MLD.

For 5 years I worked alongside the nurses at the Oxford Lymphoedema Clinic. I did leave cover at London Bridge Plastic Surgery in Wimpole St, London. I also do leave cover at the Manor Hospital, Oxford, working with the surgeons doing lymphoedema liposuction there.
