As defined by the Oxford Dictionary, the word ‘holistic’ means “characterised by the belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole”. In other words, every level of our ‘human-ness’, ie our mental, physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual elements are intrinsically linked and therefore affected by each other.
