The MELT Method is a self-care treatment that is clinically proven to reduce / eliminate pain and stiffness, improve performance and decrease the accumulation of stuck stress caused by the repetitive postures and movements of everyday life. MELT rehydrates the connective tissue known as fascia, rebalances the nervous system and restores the space to compressed joints. MELT is not just for those in chronic pain – it is for everyone.

“We all do daily repetitive movements from sitting at a desk for work, participate in sports or are suffering from an injury. Where people have pain, impacted mobility and reduced movement MELT has helped restore their joint centralisation and stability, calm their minds, improve their flexibility, posture and alignment.

I started my “healing” journey over 30 years ago as a massage therapist. I felt instantly felt I had come home I knew how powerful touch was to get people out of pain and I wanted to know so much more than my basic training had given me. I went on to gain a degree in Advanced Clinical Massage and Sports Massage, where I dived into the world of fascia.

After a very successful Career as a Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist working in an Osteopathy clinic, I found myself injured and in a lot of pain with four prolapsed discs, which was incredibly debilitating.  It was then that I found the MELT Method created by the wonderful inspirational teacher, Sue Hitzmann. MELT played such a huge role in my rehabilitation that I decided to train as an instructor.

I love being a MELT Method instructor as it allows me to make a tangible difference in people’s day to day living as it made to my own life with chronic pain. There is something so rewarding about helping my patients improve their quality of life, reducing and or eliminating their pain, improving their mobility and helping them reconnect with their bodies to achieve a sense of well-being. I get to be part of their journey, empowering them towards a better pain-free life.

I’m so passionate about spreading the word about MELT as there is nothing out there that can do what MELT can.”

  • Private Home Clinic for 1-2-1’s – Holmer Green
  • MELT classes
    • Mondays & Wednesday mornings – 10-11am – Holmer Green Village Hall
    • Tuesdays evenings – 6.30-7.30pm – Holmer Green Village Hall
    • Monday mornings – 0845-0945am – Online

FEES

  • 1-2-1 session – £60
  • Block of six classes – £100

I started my MELT journey nearly a year ago now due to a history of chronic back problems. I was having regular monthly hands on treatment prior to starting MELT and can happily say I haven’t needed any hands on treatment as yet. Sarah-Jane is so encouraging and makes even the novice MELTer feel at ease. I know that I’ve got a long way to go but in recent weeks I’ve had some back pain and using the techniques at home between classes, down without having hands on work. I can really feel the benefit and on class night I know I’m going to get the best nights sleep.
