Previously in the New Zealand police force, Mary-Kate is now a fully qualified personal trainer with 12 years of experience. Passionate about helping people get back into exercise and grow their confidence; she works hard to help you achieve your desired results.
Mary-Kate creates unique exercise programmes tailored to your fitness levels and your individual goals. She offers the following options:
- 1:1 Training Sessions (within a local gym or outside)
- Group Training Sessions
- Event Specific Training (marathons, competitions)
“Fitness has always been a big part of my life, so when I was offered the chance to qualify as a personal trainer whilst still in the police force I jumped at it. Three children later and I have left the police force behind, but my love of fitness and the happiness it can bring has firmly remained.
The best part of my job is watching how the changes in the way my clients look and feel can so positively impact their confidence. I especially love working with people who usually feel uncomfortable with exercise – helping them to enjoy it and seeing the small steps turn into big changes is incredibly rewarding.
You should never be intimidated by exercising – everybody is different and works at their own pace towards their own goals. Absolutely anyone can get involved; whatever your age, fitness level or previous experience, you can benefit from regular exercise.
My style is to keep my sessions fun and relaxed but I can promise you an amazing workout that will deliver results.”
Mary-Kate has access to a local gym for her client’s training sessions. She is also able to come to your home or use an outside area for your workout.
All equipment provided – all you need is a pair of trainers, a water bottle and some enthusiasm.
Cost: from £40 per hour
Group Classes: £10 per class (concession cards for block bookings of 10 sessions)
